Happy NLOI day

Kozan is a no show at school ceremony per CBS Sports

Here's a little more B.S. to fuel the fire off of an Auburn site:

"Apparently rift in family. I know we aren`t in on him but he and family left his signing ceremony this AM; turned off cell phones and aren`t talking to anyone. He apparently wants to go to Ga. and family wants him to go elsewhere"

He wants to go to GA? Georgia?

That is exactly what ESPNU said a few minutes ago about the #1 OLB prospect who committed to Georgia live on ESPNU this morning. Kid wants to go to UGA but his grandpa, who is his legal guardian, wants him to stay closer to home and go to Gainesville.

This quote is not about Kozan.

The more I read about this kid the less I want him. Sounds like a drama queen and for someone who has never played a down of college football I would rather have the kids that want to be here.

OR he has a ton of people in his ear about where he should go and why. This isn't always easy for some kids. Big decision.

this is a decision that will forever change his life, puts lots of pressure and stress on him, etc. Chill out the kids young and confused.

I tend to agree with this. It's not like he's out creating a bunch of drama, as a matter of fact it seems a lot of speculation and drama because he's more "behind closed doors". Seems like he's a kid who wasn't asking for a ton of attention and is really struggling with this decision.

Sounds like he would fit in at a certain tight lipped, under the radar university in middle America.....

He isn't just choosing a football team...

He is making a big decision for his future.

You might say: "Can't he just transfer if he really doesn't like it?"

Well, the answer is yes, but transferring is a pain in the butt and can REALLY mess things up--I know this from personal experience. I really don't blame him for feeling unsure/scared.

If he chooses Iowa, great! But if he doesn't... I'm confident we will find a way to survive.
