2 - Iowa
12 - Purdue
13 - Michigan State
14 - Maryland
22 - Indiana

The Big 10 has 5 in the top 25. I suspect Purdue and Michigan State will both work their way back into the Top 10 as they get further removed from their double losses to Iowa. But even 4 in the top 14 is pretty solid IMO.

The mighty Big 12 only has 3 in the top 14. The ACC has 4 (all in the top 10) but we won the ACC - Big 10 Challenge. No other conference has more than 1 in the top 14.

Kind of. This was more overreactionary whining after a tough loss (not the OP but a lot of posts). I was pretty optimistic that we even got a 20 point lead on Iowa State. Blowing the lead sucked and it was a reoccurence of a bad trend but to get up that much on the road vs a good team made me optimistic we could be a tournament team. Didn't really expect to beat every one everywhere.
