Not only that but the guy's system depends on continuity, not hiring henchmen out of the portal every season. His system works because every single guy on the field starts learning his assignments from day one and many guys get turned over to the special teams unit for a year to teach them fundamentals. Guys will get beat one on one on occasion, but when you look at teams that went hard into the portal for defensive players you can see why a "system guy" is the superior model for building a defense.

Not everyone chases $. The man is 60 years old making somewhere around 1.5 mil/yr. If parker was in it to make as much $ as possible or position himself for a different roll he could've/would've left years ago. Parker has already proven he's not leaving iowa so long as KF is the man.
