Greg Davis staying?!?

Take this for what it's worth, but I was eating lunch at the Tremont today (for you Marshalltownites, I am a poser) and I heard a few guys talking about the situation down in IC. One of the guys, who I have interacted with, he's a large donor for the Hawks, was saying that he has heard that Greg will be staying for at least one more year and there is discussions about him staying around and even a slight raise.

Again I couldn't believe it when I heard it, but take it for what it's worth.

I've been hearing the same things from other donors. I'll put my rep on the line to say that there is definitely some smoke here, definite rumbling, buzzy, smoke.

Can we get a Davis is on the fence about staying or going rumor, just to balance everything out? Has anyone checked flight schedules. This is usually a very good predictor of future events involving the athletic department.

Thats weird cause I was havin some tea with with the president of the big donors of Iowa Sports foundation and He mentioned to me that He heard Davis was clearing out his hotel room. Of course he told me it was hush hush and I should put a lid on it...oh crap...damn.

Is there a way to pistol whip someone over the internet? If so, I'd like to pistol whip the next person who starts another thread claiming sources are telling them anything about Greg Davis.

I know this cannot be true because that third world stinkhole Marshalltown does not have the capacity to domicile a big-time Hawk donor. If said person had enough money to be a big time Hawk donor, said person would not be feasting at Le Tremont nor residing in Marshallgutter.

Geez who cares? Greg Davis is A problem, but he is not THE problem. I assure you that whoever KF replaced Davis with would fail as well because of his boss. 14 years of data show that I'm right. Ridiculous to get bent out of shape about this.

It's pretty simple: Good QB = Good in football.

We had a bad one. Plain and simple. If a better one shows up, we will have a decent team.

Look at the NFL. Bad QBs = bad teams. Same in college. A&M might have the Heisman winner and is doing pretty well in the tough SEC. They struggled last year with a different QB in the b12.

Just sayin.

I can't believe that anyone would be surprised by GD being retained for another year. Anyone that is clearly hasn't been paying attention to KFs MO the last 14 years.

If you can't see that this offensive scheme was hopelessly futile, compared to just below average from KOK in most years, then I'm afraid you're a lost cause.

I just checked the Tremont menu. The soup sounds fantastic: Soup de Jour

And someone from the Big City liked it. I bet it got three stars from Michelin. Gonna travel there just to try it.

Yeah it is pretty legit. They have 2 restaurants and an irish pub all in the same building. The high class restaurant is closed during lunch, but since they knew we had some serious connections we got to sit in there anyways, and just ordered off their Italian Grille menu.
