Iowa fell behind a couple of times because of pick sixes. Has he been absolved from those too?

I like Rick and I would much rather he was our QB than Jake. Don't get me wrong. It would just be nice for people to acknowledge that it's not all on the defense or special teams and that our offense left some points on the field last Saturday. I think it's fairly obvious.

I'll give you that. But, what he did do that many QB's have difficulty with is having a short memory & forgetting about the play to go on & succeed. This is often difficult for young college QB's. Many let neg plays linger & affect their play. Ricky just goes on & performs.

But, again, you were referring to him not playing "up to potential" this year, not last.

I think everyone is stupid if you are blaming the offense or defense. It was all Special Teams. 5 plays changed the course of the game and they were all special teams. The offense punted the ball what 1 time? Give me a break. The defense gave up 31 but geez the ST gave them the ball at midfield 3 x. Why do you think arena footbal scores are so high. When you shorten the field it is easier to score. Quit blaming the D. Quit blaming the O. It is all Special Teams!
