GOTTLIEB

Are you suggesting they will get 5?

Possible, not likely, but they will get 4 for sure. Hopefully, one of those 4 will win their post-season tourney in Vegas, so a 5th team doesn't get in from that conference.

I just don't see how Iowa can get to the Dance this year unless they beat the Hoosiers and then get 22 wins overall.

Without Gesell, we are not beating both Indiana and Illinois. All this "big dance" stuff is crazy talk!!!

Look beyond the RPI, Saint Mary's resume sucks.

Tell that to the committee, if they will listen.

I'm just not as optimistic. You really feel Iowa is this close to the bubble ssc. I'm just not buying it. We just lost our PG, folks and in 2 hours will be discussing a 20 point beatdown..

Just put us in his last 5 in!

Meanwhile, Dave Revsine had us "out" on one of the radio shows this morning.

Frankly, even going 4-0 we need to win 2 games in BTT with Minny having knocked off Indy this past week.

B1G probably "deserves" 8 teams, but the NCAA Selection Committee has to kiss a$$ to Big East in b-ball, SEC in everything. Kentucky will probably get a 4-seed...

I think we have to win the last two, win at least two in the BTT (probably, three). I think Illinois beats us at home though.

I could see them getting in based on the excitement they bring, these 50 point games are electric.

Baylor, UK, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, ISU, ASU, Colorado, Indiana St, Charlotte, all lost

Look at our Resume vs. UK, St. Mary's, Mississippi, La Salle, Temple, etc. It really isnt that far off. And all this assumes we win at least 3 of our next 4.

Saw on College Gameday this morning when they did their blind resume thing, we were Team B going against Team A(Ole Miss)'s resume, and all of the experts preferred Iowa's resume. That was even before the Rebs lost to Mizzippi State. Rose, Bilas, Phelps, Gottlieb and Crean all believe we should be in. Hope that's a good sign.
