that better than getting 12-13 2*'s every year, like Iowa was getting from 1999 thru 2009
2005 was a National top 10 recruiting class that had multiple 4-5 star players on it. One of the most disappointing classes ever.
I think the difference is Iowa getting higher rated players at skill positions. It seemed that Iowa's top recruits were o-line and TEs for obvious reasons. But now they are continuing good recruiting with o-line and TEs and but now are getting good/great DBs, WRs and RBs. The RBs will eventually start working out in the long term.
