Good Lord Jon.....

Translation: I Loved it when your opinions aligned with mine. Now, since they don't, you have been compromised somehow

Yep, that is how they operate. You were their "Champion" Jon when you were going off the snarky deep end after the 2014 bowl game. Now you are a sell out.......that is how it works with them.

Of course it does. 18 years of doing what I do, I have a real world masters in sociology and human behavior. Confirmation bias is a terrible thing ;)

no, that isn't the translation at all. the translation is that, somehow, brian is the only best OC candidate because he was born in IC, played for Iowa and his dad is a coach at Iowa. Look, you have always stated your fondness for brian, and that's well and good. but he's the best because he was born in IC, went to Iowa and is kirk's son? that isn't logical. There are hundreds of coaches with successful records as an OC that weren't even considered.

wrong again, deano. Jon happened to be the only "news guy" who was telling the bold truth. he's fallen into line with the program and that is fine for him; but it doesn't make him right about brian.

HAHA, so when he agreed with you it was the "bold truth". When he doesn't agree with you, he's "fallen into line with the program".

Are we really talking about nepotism not being a factor with this hire?
I mean I can't even.

Of course not. Brian is absolutely on staff because of his dad. He was also very qualified to become the OL coach when he did, he was qualified to become run game coordinator when he did, and he was qualified to become the OC a couple weeks ago.

Here's the deal...I have addressed this more than a few times. I feel no need to address it again. Nobody 'got to me'. You can rip me for having a different opinion or one you don't like. But I am done with people questioning my motives. When I see this going forward, I will ban you from this website. Again, to be clear, you can rip me from stout to stern if you think I am wrong...but you won't be questioning my motives any longer around here.

Bravo. About time you stopped toe-ing the party line! :)
