If we ever want to see a win on the road at USC, this is a pretty good setup.
A very good Iowa defense that feels a little stung and might be extra grouchy.
A QB whe either seems to "have it" or "not have it" at times, proved to himself he can 'not' have it in horrible conditions and then 'find it'.
An Iowa QB who appears to have rediscovered tight ends.
An offense that showed it can go 93 yards against a very good defense bv...gasp....throwing the ball.
Likely better weather for Wetjen.
Yes, they get the home field bump. And the USC home field bump. But, I still think a lot of people would say this game is a bit of a tossup.
And I'll be in Iowa City. I just hope I can hang with the kids until the game is won. Cause those em effers start way early and go way harder than this old fart can manage.
