Give ISU some credit for once

I dislike the Clones as much as the next guy but would it hurt anyone to give them some credit for once?

They have a good team in Ames and from this point forward the better they do the more it helps Iowa.
 
this one hurts, not because they lost, but how they lost.

To get beat on the road by a better team doesn't hurt.

To know that you are clearly the better team and have a lopsided officiated game and then pi$$ it away at the end hurts bad.

Iowa gave a great effort tonight, but you people are pathetic.
 
ISU has a very good team, I have never said different. Iowa could have won that game if they just make FT at the end, and they didn't. Iowa pizzed this one away, that doesn't take anything away from ISU, it just is what it is..
 
Agreed but seeing multiple posts that blame everything but how Iowa played is pathetic.

Agree here. I am just shocked Gessel missed those free throws. This game was everything it was made out to be. Crazy stuff.

If we are pathetic, then go celebrate on your own board. ISU won, great. Iowa should have won and didn't. My guess is I will still wake up tomorrow morning?

I really don't think there was a clearly better team tonight, and I think I'll still be saying that when I look at these teams at the end of the year. This was nothing more than a couple top-15-caliber teams going blow for blow. After this game, I firmly believe both teams are that good this year.

They made them at the end. Your team is mentally tough. Ours is a bunch of pathetic choke artist goats.

Both of these teams will be finished after the first weekend in the Dance if they don't improve FT shooting. ISU won't get that lucky against a nonchoker team, and Iowa will prolly choke their way out of the tourney.
