Georgia Tech the 15th B1G member?

Being the Warmest Weather in the conference will likely be a big advantage for GT. Does this mean Whisky may possibly come over to our division?

So I suppose we now sit at 15 for a while. Make a last pitch run at ND, with UNC, BC, or KU as a backup plan? Or maybe add all of them. Why stop at 16? We can get teh Big 10 network on every major city in the country. Maybe Las Vegas, or Texas, Or California. Lots of untapped market share for the B1G out there. Product on the field be damned, that will catch up with time. New rivalries will form.

Screw it all, This is a big game of Risk right now with nothing but $$$ and TV markets to think of. Time to load up all the soilders and go on a suicide mission.

We're looking for:
1. AAU schools (list is here)
2. In major TV markets (list is here)
3. With FBS football programs
4. That aren't in a good conference already (Big Ten, PAC12, SEC)

That's a tough set of criteria.

The way I see it, it will be Duke, Kansas, UNC, or Virginia.

How about when we get to 20 teams they split up the divisions into the original 10 vs. the others? Seriously, I'm starting to hate expansion.

Barf. I guess us proud northern states will just have to accept that the roughly 300,000 brave men who died in teh Civil Wawr died in vain. Thr well educated, hard wrocking, and reputable folks of the traditional BoneGs reputations are sullied by accepting in to the conference the poop stain of human existence which is the Deep South (and Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Portions of Kentucky) and allowing them to become members of this once proud conference.

And let me tell you a little story about Georgia in particular:

Would it make sense to take the expansion to 40 teams? The original Big10 X 4. Keeps the BIG10 in tact in a sense.

I hate this **** with every fiber of my being. My interest in big ten athletics decreases everytime they make another one of these ******* moves based solely on TV markets. Have some ******* pride Delaney.

O RLY? I'm sure you didn't hate adding PSU bince we used to be able to beat them. And your anger with Nebraska being added is prolly because you know we'll be just like Colorado in terms of playing them after T-giving and ALWAYS lose to them. Now, your interest in big ten athletics is at an all time low because Iowa has a terrible football team and a terrible basketball team. If we had good teams, you would still be interested.

Oh, I wish I was in the land of cotton...

Nebraska is not in the AAU.

ND has a standing invite to whatever conference they want, including the B1G.

I thought PSU was a great addition. My objection to Nebraska was based more on the souless, godless, brainless, fart sniffing, mouth breathing fan base than anything but I liked the fact that they brought another very solid football program to the big 10. Personally I feel that any additions made should follow some sort of geographical common sense, I mean srsly a georgia team in the big 10?
