Yeah, how the defender hit him is irrelevant. He used forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless player. That call was probably the worst, followed by overturning the catch.
That is exactly what the rule says and anyone with even one eye could see it was targeting. I am sick and tired of seeing the eye in the sky overturn officials' calls in inexplicable ways. Maybe should just leave it up to the refs.
