Same here. Iowa fans obviously can identify with this, especially those of us who were around in the early 90's. It makes basketball seem not that important.

Tragic...just tragic. Our hearts go out to his family and GCU.

This kid played his butt off and gave Weiskamp a battle all day. They were locked in an epic fight all day. Now, I think he got away with about 10 fouls, but he pushed it as far as he could. Incredible athlete...and sorry to hear this news.

That's terrible.... Hope school reaches out to them. Not that they have to but it'd be nice if they would. I can't imagine. Don't even remotely want to. His family, teammates/coaches have to be inconsolable.
