I noticed on the Nebby replay how he has a really quick acceleration when he sees the open hole. After Goodson's 55 yard run, Williams just exploded up the middle for about a 10 yard gain. The next play he hit is quick again when there wasnt much there and he got 2+ yards on 1st and goal. If Goodson stays then Williams will looks like a very competent backup and runner for the future.

On the merits, I would posit that Williams is actually a better fit in this system. Zone blocking schemes posit a deep handoff and one cut. It should go for a nice run or minimal gain, but rarely a loss. When you "dance", there is a high risk of the defense defeating the zone and tackling for a loss. We have seen that so many times with Goodson and Wadley. I like that Williams is getting more carries for this reason and because it let's Goodson stay fresh.

Also, TGood's numbers have gotten better the less he makes his first juke in the backfield and just runs downhill first.

I entered this thread expecting a joke, but did not find it in OP. @thedukeofearl did not disappoint. Not sure how to feel about OP, but I have been very pleasantly surprised by Gavin Williams's play.
It didnt bother me which is why I put the smiley face emoji in my reply. I have thought the same thing when reading stuff.
