Taking my 8 year old son to the game on Saturday. He wants to see the team come into the stadium. What time does that happen and how early do you need to be there to be able to see?

Thanks! Go Hawks!

from the bus, it is approx 2 hrs before game time and they come from Melrose into Krause Plaza

That is correct and have a great day with your son I started attending games with my father when I was 6 and we are still doing it to this day, and I also earned a degree from the University of Iowa it is a great experience for sure and something you will always have together.:)

You don't have to get there that early. With a little kid, 10-15 mins should be plenty to guarantee a spot at the front.

If you want to see them enter the field before the game, then all you have to do is get to your seats about 5 minutes before kickoff. If you want to see the Hawks go through game day warm-ups & drills you need to be in your seats about an hour before game time. Remember the Hawks go back into the locker room about twenty minutes before kickoff for last minute instructions, pep talks, etc.

Now if you want to see the Hawks enter the locker room, then you have to be outside the stadium about two hours before kickoff.

From your question, I really don't understand what you want to do.

It's pretty obvious he wants to watch the team come off of the bus, thus "entering the stadium."

Thanks guys. Yes, we want to see them come off the bus. That's what I thought but wanted to confirm. I think my son will love that.

I took him to his first game last year. He liked it but I know being a year older he is starting to understand a little more. Can't wait to share more memories and games with him and the rest of the family! That's what is really all about.

The buses arrive at 9 am for 11 am kickoffs, or always 2 hours before kick. Get to the gate by 8:45 if you want a front row.
