Game time temperature

Just checked the weather - looks like 35 now, 34 at kickoff. Brrrr. 76 here now. At this point I'd probably die if I had to spend a winter in Minneapolis.

I have no clue why people live up there on purpose... I mean wtf. If you are literally risking your life by going out in it then come on.. I grew up in NW Iowa and I lived there long enough to know south is the direction to go. I'm in west TN and I'm not far enough south yet. But I'm getting there... haha

This x a 1000. I am thinking about the Carolinas, but point well taken.

I don't believe people are supposed to live in Minnesota...it should be a vacation state where they have people live there 6 months of the year.

Carolinas are amazing too. When they aren't flooded to the gills like they just were.

That tropical storm the other day added 7 miles to my commute because of a flooded out road. It's finally down but it might rain today and it will get flooded again. Sucks.

Yuck... That's what I like about TN to that extent. We get just the aftermaths of those nasty storms from the south once in awhile. We occasionally get some shitty weather but it's rare.

We just get long rain and some stiff winds from them. We're pretty far inland and 900 feet above sea level so there's no direct threat up here. The problem is there has been so much population growth that the drainage systems are starting to get compromised. As the crow flies we're prolly only 80-90 miles from the TN border.

Some friends rented a 7,500 sq ft mansion on the beach in the Outer Banks last year for a wedding, was quite a party that week. Fun area.

Would love to get a group of friends together to go back some time!

Great house. The hurricane insurance on that place should be about a half a million dollars a year assuming it's a 2-2.5 million rebuild. Of course, it isn't and instead they say to guys like me "hey, tough year, your premiums are going up 22% because of the hurricane that didn't cause any property damage within 100 miles of your house. Thanks for being responsible and understanding!"
