Game time temperature

great. even more tipped balls in the air off our receivers hands as they try to catch a 100 mph fastball from 10 yards away, with ice cold hands.

Minnesota defense is awful so hopefully petras won’t be throwing much.
Has any of their players came back from their quarantine? I thought the first game of the season they had a number of their defensive starters out due to the 'rona.

I am actually looking forward to this Friday game for some reason. We'll be the only show in town as far as BIG games. But, nice to relax on a Friday night and watch and have all day Sat. free!!

I was thinking about that yesterday as well. The thought of finishing a work week, going home, and kicking back to watch the game without missing out on anything Saturday was really appealing to me. It still doesn't feel right, in terms of normalcy, but maybe a welcomed abnormality.

Yeah, and with my Crimson Tide getting cancelled, my Saturday is totally free until 7 when Northwestern plays Purdue. That's the only game I care about.

Run, run, run.......fake run, home run to Smith, fake run, juke blitz, hit LaPorta.....CJ needs the ball.....stay aggressive on D...temp makes no difference

That's what we thought for a windy day a couple weeks ago too but... Yeah we should hopefully be 55-45 run/pass especially since MN sucks at defending it so far. But it's 2020 and I'm not predicting anything with much confidence..

The over/under is 58......seriously considering taking the under.
Yeah man I'd lean hard on the under if that's what it is. Both teams will run the crap out of the ball burning clock hence less possessions. Iowa's D hasn't given up more then 25 yet and it'd take a similar thing happening with us scoring on special teams and defense to get over 33. I'd feel confident with that being the right choice. (BUT ITS 2020 SO WHO THE HELL KNOWS HAHA)

Well, if Shulte and Campbell are back in the fold...that's a real positive this week. If it's this cold...having a few extra bodies on the D will be a nice luxury...especially against Minnesota and their huge OL. The RB is a beast too.

Honestly...I like our chances in a game that's kind of a mudder. You know...it's an old horseracing term...when the track is terrible and the fast horses can't get traction and are mired in the slop...and it brings the stronger horses into the mix. After watching our offense, I think we are the mudder on that side of the ball...and need some "conditions" help.
