Game thread? Texas Tech

Toussaint has a high ceiling, seems to me. First he needs to get his floor game grounded. Youthful mistakes. But he has the energy and quickness Fran’s teams have lacked.
That kid has the defensive dribble stops & helps that allows the other guard/s to recover.

And I love his hard-nose NY attitude. Absolutely love it!

My first comment in this thread noted how they clearly miss Jarrett Culver from last year's team.

They need to get the point guard position shored up if they're going to go deep for the third consecutive year. And show more mental toughness.

And one more dig at the pro Tech announcers. That elbow to Garza was not as inadvertent as they were leading on.
They sure didn't like to show replays, that's for sure.

Watched it, didn't comment on it until now.
Pleasantly surprised. Finally held and won with a lead. No kidding though was a little nervous at end when the full pressure was put on us. Happy Thanksgiving all!

That is why Connor fouling out was a blessing. For all his improvements and pluses, handling the press is not one of his pluses.

Lefty shots always look a little odd.
Some sure do. His sure does because he turns his body at a weird angle along with it. Some lefties have smooth looking shots though. I actually loved Mashie Daileys jumper. His was a really smooth stroke. His results just weren't always all that good....

Anyone going to give Fran some love? I've been pretty rough on him over the years but I thought he coached a heck of a game here. That stretch in 2nd half where he called back to back sets one to Garza giving him the ball inside the middle of the lane and where JBo caught that catch and shoot 3 at the top of the key were just great. Prior to that the momentum had totally shifted their way. He always has team running good out of bounds sets. Considering how we've looked coming in that game gives us something to look forward to. All so we can have our hearts ripped out in March.

I believe Creighton will be a more difficult game
What about the 10 second violation, travel & 5 second violation all in the same possession in the 1st half. Good grief, that was pretty hard 30 sec to watch.

I rewatched the game and they had 14 seconds to get the ball over half court

There certainly should have been a review when Garza was lying on his back on the floor with blood spilling all over the place

Worst zebras ever

Only 2 teams finish the season not getting their hearts ripped out in March.

It's the life of a college basketball fan.
