Hard to believe this is the same team that got run off the court by DePaul.

We had a lot of new players learning how to play together and they had played 3 games, i wasnt surprised

No. Not expecting Iowa to our-defend a defensive team.

Yes, TT missed open shots. So did Iowa.

Yes, TT has a sub-par night from 3. So did Iowa from free throw line.

When you have an off-night on your team’s strength then find another way to win. Iowa did. TT didn’t.

CJ was great but this team is different with JBo in the starting lineup.

The lineup with 4 guards around Garza just gives Luka even more space. Granted I think this matchup was a good one for Luka.

But credit to Fran to go with the smaller lineup and the way we defended.

It also made our perimeter defense more active and had something to do with Tech's poor perimeter shooting night.

I give a lot of credit to Fran for CJ. I had no idea what to expect from CJ (honestly, didn't expect much) but I really like his game and I see he and Bohannon have similar cajones.

He has such a quick shot. He needs to bait defenders with fake, not just to blow by like he has tried, but look to take the foul 3 shot foul.

Hawks came out strong and fought them the entire way

They didn't expect that at all

We gave them more than they could handle

And we did it playing a clean game
