I wish someone would show a clip of just before I believe Garza's last shot (mid-range shot). Whoever was guarding him put his full weight into shoving Garza from behind, and Luka nearly fell on his ass. If Garza was 50 pounds lighter, he would have been shoved 10 feet into the stands.
Are you talking about the high pressure dagger he drilled? I didn't see it. Too impressed with the shot I guess. People in this thread are right about how many more fouls they could have called. It looked like a Michigan State game where the refs are just forced to give up on calling them or have to start calling phantom calls on Iowa to help even them out. I'm proud of the refs for not doing the latter for a change.
A lot of people complaining about this for Michigan, but Iowa played zone for 2/3 of the game, and I think I can count on one hand the amount of times Michigan actually threw it into a player who was posting up. That is Iowa's gameplan from the start, so there's probably going to be a descrepency between the two teams. Crazy that people think the fouls must always be balanced and the free throws must always equal out. I saw a stat that Michigan is in the lower 10% of free throws attempted.
Not on this board are there people complaining, just to clear that up. Just seen it a lot on twitter and other forums (including Iowa State boards lol)

Yep. Right at about 1:41 left in the game. The crowd obviously saw it by the noise they made. Looked like the ref was staring right at it as well. I might be exaggerating a little bit by saying someone lighter being thrown into the stands, but it was an obvious foul.

They finally move Garza out of the post and he drills the 12-15 ft. shot.
Michigan chucked up 34 threes.
Iowa out rebounded them by 13.
And THEY expect foul calls on the road in the B1G. Dial 1-800-Waaa

Especially their Bigs and coach. The way they were leaning on Garza should have fouled out the whole front line.

Should have been 24. Juwan though he deserved the Izzo/Ryan treatment, keep hacking until they get tired of calling them.
Fran, on the other hand, has been very calm on the bench this year by his standards. I wonder if he got an admonishment from the league or his own athletic department after the Ohio State situation and subsequent two game suspension.

Garza looked right at the ref too but said nothing. Looked at it again and the Mich. player looked right at the ref. expecting a call as well.I promise I won't go on all day, but here's another obvious foul. Announcers claim CJF passed it to nobody, but that's actually a foul on Johns Jr.
