Hope this was a mistake in the stats because Cole blocked a shot about 11.5 feet in the air. It was a big block at that time of the game as well.
Official block or not at the very least Cole altered the shot and is another great example of someone who gives 100% effort even though he frequently is out-sized. The nucleus of Cole, Gatens, and May are going to do whatever they can to help turn this program around and I think others are beginning to feed off their intensity. Fuller has a much stronger game as he continues to get back to 100% following the ankle sprain and Payne is a tough-minded gym rat that is only going to continue getting better right along with Cougs once he gets over the flu and gets back on track in terms of conditioning (personal experience has taught me the heavier you are, the longer it takes to regain your wind, footspeed, etc.).
