way to degrade what he did by putting it on someone going to the bench because of foul trouble, but I seem to remember Woodbury going to the benchy because of fouls,s o what's your excuse for UNI not taking advantage of that?

All I know is going .500 this year wouldn't be an embarassment at all...matter of fact I think we only get 18 wins this year. I'm more concerned at the dumpster fire called the football program. The last 3 months have frankly made me ill. We are headed for another very poor year next year too.

No one is degrading what he did. If I said he looked lost out there (which he did from time to time) that would be degrading.
But, as I stated, Iowa went on the run as soon as Sonnen went to the bench.
Woodbury was ineffective the entire game. His going to the bench didn't change anything UNI did because when he was in there he wasn't helping Iowa that much.
Observe the game.
Herby you make it seem like gabe was the best post player on the floor today. He played ok...that is it. He looked bad at times and good at others. If he had played as well as you claim he did then when woody got into foul trouble why would fran go to mccabe instead of gabe? He went with the better player, the one with experience the one he can trust the most.
I don't see many saying may and mccabe should be benched. I see most saying that they are now playing roles more suited to their skills. Neither is really equiped to be a b1g starter or play a considerable amount of minutes day in and day out. But on days like today they have the ability and experience to step up.
Btw how many minutes did aaron white get at the 3 spot? I have trouble keeping track because I am too busy seeing him play the 4. Where he can defend and exploit the defense. He really couldn't have played the defense at the 3 spot that may did and the offense seems much more fluid with him at the 4.
Keep telling yourself that a lead that iowa got was more due to a back up that most games doesn't see the court until garbage time (olaseni) than it is due to one of the best players on a team (uni - sonnen) getting into foul trouble.
But please herby keep telling yourself you know things because you look up stars and height and weight and 40 times of guys...those things don't matter it is how you play.
