Game Ball Question

OK. How does it work? During the NW game in Evanston, I noticed when Iowa had the ball the hawk logo on the ball. Does each team get to use their own "official" ball on drives? Or, does the visiting team provide the game balls for both teams during the game. Now that I think about it, I think each team can use their own on offensive drives. Is this correct?

Each team provides their own game balls. When a team kicks off, they use their own game ball (you'll notice that on the SI cover last year, DJK is carrying an Adidas football, which is what Indiana uses), then the offense gets their own ball for the plays from scrimmage.
