Don't know if many have had a chance to look at this. He talks about his meeting right around the 1:00 mark.

Jeez, get the camera out of the man's face. I felt like he was being put in a really bad position there. He looked completely uncomfortable and just kept getting pressed for more. These kids don't owe it to the media to talk to them. I know 'information' sells subscriptions but jeez, don't turn in to the paparazzi.

Terrible questions to have to answer. Understanding that the reporter was doing his job. Hard to tell what is going on, but it is too bad if the players know something and can't tell the truth.

Only speculation, but when asked about what he told Gary. It seemed like he had to take some time to gather his thoughts on what to say. Could mean absolutely nothing, but just wondering if anyone else saw that when watching? I could be reaching for things and reading too much into it.

Fuller played a tough game yesterday after getting double teamed on most touches.

So people always want journalists to ask the tough questions, yet when they do it's none of their business?

So that's how it works... I gotcha.

I also think that a kid in this hypothetical situation of knowing something would lie to a reporter. Why would he tell a reporter? Athletes lie to reporters quite a bit. PR talk instead of truth happens most the time.

Fuller doesn't and shouldn't feel the need to discuss this with anyone in the media.

I like it when reporters ask tough questions but when they are asking about the future of a coach and what a private meeting between two people may have played into that, yeah I thiink not only that the kid lied but that was the right thing for him to do.

What the hell is wrong with the reporter? ,"what do you think breeds stuff like this?" he ask.
What is he trying to get out of this question that he can't already deduce himself? Does he want Fuller to say Lickliter is poor at gaining the trust of his players. Is he asking him to flat out talk down his own coach?

Or ,"Its out there that you went to Barta (states it as a fact instead of asking him), did you say coach leaves or i leave?'. He basically baits Fuller into throwing the coach under the bus, which if he was successful and Lickliter was our coach still next year, would put quite a bit of tensions between our best player and our coach.

I can understand asking the coach tough questions but I just didn't like putting all this pressure on someone who has only been apart of the hawkeyes two seasons.

I caught that, too. He answered well by just repeating everything he had just said in the previous questions.

Honestly, if you don't know who I am based on the preview/predictions, stories, VLOGS I do for this site, you don't frequent this site enough.

What do you think he is going to say? I'm sure having been talked to personally by Barta he was instructed to keep PC about everything until the university makes the announcement. This changes nothing. I still think it's 95% that Lick is outta here!
