Initial reaction from the TN folks is they are brushing it off. Saying well we have new coaching staff that didn't recruit him he may not have fit..yadda yadda. Well as an Iowa fan I wish he'd have stuck with TN. Mixing his skill set with Frost and his style/how he wants to play scares me a little... Time will tell but that type of duel threat is exactly what he was wanting and he didn't mess around and went and got him. How early will he be ready to be thrown in the fire is anyones guess. But I bet it's fair to say Neb has seen enough of Tanner Lee and I'd be pretty surprised if he isn't looking around for a new landing spot...

Hacksaw was recruited to SMU by Hayden Fry, but don't think he ever actually played for him unless he redshirted in 1972. He lettered from 73-76.
