Frost strikes

When you hit a button on the back, it also begs in a whiny voice for a share of the national championship.

Iowa better beware of the coming Frost. I firmly believe he will bring them back. Maybe not NC back, but they could become the 2nd in this division to WUs. We either keep up with the Jones' or become also rans. Which is it, folks? Fans put pressure on coaches and admin with their wallets.

Go back and listen to Miller and Deace's podcast about the hire. It might help you feel a little better, for now.

i know that. but that doesn't change kNU being in the middle of nowhere. i think frost will come close, but i don't think he'll get tom osborne close, if that makes sense. but, that still means frost will be successful enough to leap frog iowa, and by a long shot, if iowa isn't careful. iowa needs an image change on offense. period. that's done be being a much more prolific offense. that's done by being a more wide open offense. do we think that happens under kirk?

It most certainly could but will Nebraska be content with that? IMO probably Not for long..

Today's TV exposure has taken away them ever being Osborne level again. Back during the Osborne days they got additional TV exposure over everyone in the Midwest and pretty much owned the Midwest Recruiting base for the top players because Nebraska would get those players on TV. Since the middle 90's TV exposure isn't issue for recruits anymore because everyone is on TV. TV exposure has affected many former National Powers like Notre Dame

no, you're right. it probably will be a never ending search. but i do think frost will get really close and the fans will live it for a long time because he was their unanimous pick. where else will they turn if frost doesn't??

QB coming off torn labrum surgery. I know that is very hard for pitchers to ever fully recover from that. Can't imagine it is easy for a QB either.

he'll probably RS. but even if he doesn't, he looks like a run first option qb. and, gotta remember, that is what frost was and what the Ducks system was.

Well, wrong. But other than that I agree. It isn't a system where they want a primarily running QB. Their system is predicated on a qb who is a very good passer but especially in the accuracy department and that can also run. See Mariota for Oregon and Milton for UCF. This kid they picked up had a really good arm before the injury. A lot of schools though dropped off of him because of the injury.
