Just curious, how is Kinnick set and how does the wind affect the play on the field at Kinnick? I'm assuming North-South endzones, but does a stiff wind affect the kicking game and passing game greatly? I know that against PSU a couple of weeks ago, we had wind gusts upward of 50mph, but the way Memorial Stadium has been closed in, it really didn't effect the kicking/passing games as much as one might think. It looks like 35 degrees and winds of 20 or so. Man, that is going to keep some Hawk fans home, I'm afraid. I'm thinking you'll be able to pick up tickets for 20 or 30 bucks. Never would have guessed that at the beginning of the year for the Nebraska game under any circumstances.
It will take some really, really loyal Hawk fans to sit through this. Don't know that the weather will help our chances any either.
