Fran suspended 1 game

I still haven't found anything about the official being reprimanded/suspended for making contact with a head coach...
 
If I had won the lottery, I would gladly pay 10,000 protesters to go with to B1G's office to protest for fun and to set an accountability system for the refs for all FB and BB sports!

I think this was a fair punishment. Any thing longer than a game would be wrong. Thank the lord we have perhaps the easiest game during conference play for him to miss.

They're out there as it pertains to the 1st T. Go find them yourself...won't be hard. I have no memory of an official ever making contact with either of these coaches so they most likely have not chased them down the court...but I suspect they would.
 
Yeah, I guess the B10 offices saw the same thing you all did... "the ref bumping fran".... give me a break guys.
 
B1G shows it is an utter joke and will protect its favorite coaches...you know damn well when izzo and Ryan and the other ones do this they won't get anything...then again with the officials bending over for them all the time...what an utter JOKE.

He wouldn't have gotten suspended if it was just the 1st T. Go find another coach going as nuts towards an official as Fran did. You won't. The suspension is fair.
 
Ok, so Fran gets suspended one game. Whatever I guess.

I'm still waiting for some accountability for the pathetic excuse for referees we have in this conference, although I'm not holding my breath. Teams like Iowa will continue to get Teddy V'd, and nothing will be done about it. That is painfully obvious. Until games are officiated fairly and competently, college hoops is a sham IMO.

The officiating has been fine. I would argue it's been better than the previous two years.

I disagree that officiating in college basketball has been fine over the years. I've seen far too many teams get blatantly hosed by biased refs. Agree to disagree on that one.

You quoted my post then ignored it? I'm comfortable in saying the vast majority of coaches in college basketball would go nuts if they got a T and an ejection because an official made contact with them. There is no precedent for this.

You really need to spend more time watching games and less time posting on message boards. Unlike 1977 I'm not going to agree to disagree. You're ignoring valid points so there's no reason to discuss this with you any further. Continue with your drivel until your heart's content.
