Four turnovers in the Rose Bowl?

Now the Wisconsin fans know how we felt after our 2018 game.

They should be feeling worse. Granted we all felt crappy getting our teeth knocked in by Stanford but at least Iowa didn't dominate the game and then giving it away like Wisconsin did. IMO I would feel worse losing a game like they did.

Damn straight. Perhaps The WR for Bucky, Mr. Davis, has a little karma due his way for his peripheral involvement in the Cephus trial.
BINGO! Not sure why we are dumping on their punter since, as was mentioned, that punt was going to get blocked if he didn't drop it. And Wisconsin got the lead back. It was the fumble by Danny Davis that turned the final verdict for Oregon.

And I can't explain it, since I have rooted for almost every other B1G team this post-season. But I found myself rooting for Oregon to win by the 4th qtr. I just sensed Wisconsin was playing the type of ball that has a team eventually lose.

That was gonna be blocked by 2 different guys, line completely whiffed. Whether he dropped it or not, that ball wasn’t getting out

That is why he dropped it. He saw them coming and it startled him because they were on him so fast. Lots of miscommunication by Wisconsin yesterday.

There are some SEC guys on the outside who embarrass the B1G in terms of speed and talent, but it is just a couple and they are all on Bama and LSU this year (Georgia has had a few as well in recent years). Where the SEC has an advantage is the 325 pound d-tackles who can get out of their stance and cover 8 yards in the blink of an eye. We just don't have dudes like that in the B1G, but we might have better edge rushers at the top this year between Chase Young and AJE.

I watched it as well and to be honest some of their comments were a little shi**y and they were constantly trying to make excuses for why Auburn lost the game. They kept repeating that Auburn took this game so serious and them losing wasn't because they didn't care. Well then come out and say that Minnesota out played them all game instead of trying to make excuses as to why Minnesota "shocked" them.

The Minnesota game plan was great, they were much more physical than Auburn, and they executed well. I am not so sure if the biased is so much against the Big10 or if some of these guys really think the SEC is that much better than everyone else. It would be interesting to see some of these SEC teams actually play a full schedule against power 5 schools rather than their typical cupcakes or by weeks before their big games and have to come up north and play during November and December. The only SEC team I was impressed with this year at all was LSU. They played a tough schedule and went on the road and beat some good teams. Other than them everyone else was playing for second

Minnesota crushed Auburn in the trenches and their senior-laden defense definitely helped. I think Auburn's stud d-tackle, Brown, basically went into knee protect mode after about the 3rd drive. That dude is legit and he didn't show up for the game. I also want to see CFB introduce some sort of bracket buster type of game where we can see some decent non-con matchups.

That case was a complete farce from the word go. I believe Danny Davis actually offered and took one of the girls home to make sure she got home safe. His involvement was taking pictures in which he served a suspension for.

Two young girls had a lapse in judgement and then got embarrassed about it and the whole thing spiraled out of control. The jury found Cephus not guilty of all charges in less than 45 minutes.

It’s time to move on.

This.

That play was busted before the ball got snapped and it was on the OL. Chryst is smart enough to understand that.

Even if he hung onto the ball long enough to kick it it was getting blocked and returned. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I was happy to see Wisconsin lose. Wisconsin's OL holds more than any line in college football. Plus, their fans are the worst in the Big Ten.

There were numerous offensive line holding calls that were not called on Wisconsin during that game.

My only questions was: Why don't they commit 4 turnovers against Iowa? They really CHOKED in the Rose Bowl....that Davis character (who is a criminal by the way) committed the critical fumble and the critical push off at the end.

Explain to me how Danny Davis is a criminal?

Actually I was referring to our loss to Wisconsin in 2018 when we outplayed them but lost due to special team gaffes.

Explain to me how Danny Davis is a criminal?

Cephus and Davis got 2 18 year old women drunk, and then took them up to their room. Cephus had sex with both women and Davis watched. Cephus was suspended for one year and charged with rape. Cephus said the sex was "consensual", of course.

In all fairness, Cephus was later "acquitted" of the rape charges and returned to the team. The whole thing seems very fishy to me, but what do I know.

Simply google "Wisconsin wide receiver suspended" and a lot of information will come up on the case. Cephus of course was their stud wide receiver who made a huge difference for them this year.

He was there when their stud wide receiver allegedly committed the sexual abuse for which he was suspended. Check it out
I know the specifics of the case very well. Cephus was going NOT GUILTY of all charges within 45 minutes of jury deliberation, which is crazy fast.

Danny Davis was Cephus’s roommate at the time and his involvement was he took a few pictures of what was going on. He actually served a one game suspension for it, but there was no criminal charges for what he did. He also testified at the trial in which he did not have to do, but shows he’s a pretty loyal dude.

Calling him a criminal without having any understanding of what happened is just idiotic. In essence two young girls made some poor decisions and felt embarrassed by it, from there it ended up spiraling completely out of control with the help of an idiot district attorney and the girls parents. Most people I talked to on both sides of the political spectrum were overwhelmingly in support of Cephus. The case never should have gone to trial and Cephus was rightfully found not guilty. He was actually the victim who lost a heck of a lot through that process. Kudos to him for persevering and having the year he had this year.

Also just so you know Iowa recruited Danny Davis very hard and were right there at the end. We’ve had a few mishaps but Kirk typically isn’t out there recruiting criminals is he?

Read my post above. I live in Madison and know the case extremely well. Cephus was acquitted of all charges.

There was substantial evidence including text messages from the females after it happened that he did not take advantage of them. They simply felt shame by their actions and the whole thing kind of spiraled out of control.

The court system prevailed and Cephus rightfully was acquitted. But unfortunately the damage is done to his reputation for the uniformed like yourself.

I disagree that it was a farce. It took a long time to go to trial. The prosecutors didn't think it was a farce. If it was your daughter you wouldn't have thought it was a farce. I think the two young women will have a hard time "moving on." I had not read the testimony of the witnesses so I have no idea why the jury acquitted, but perhaps Cephus had a terrific defense lawyer.

The case was no farce. Far from it.
