Foul by Clemons - Was it?

In the reviews the ball had already left the shooter's hand before Clemons made any contact and I am not sure he really did make any contact.

It did not look like it to me, or Fran. I believe he said in the post game interview that it did not look like a foul. I'm glad that it is all academic now though.

Depends on the camera angle, one showed no contact while the camera behind the shooter made it look like there was contact on the arm. In the end it was a stupid foul.

Careful. Most of the "fans" on here want to talk about the game ending push that no one saw until the slo mo replay. By the way...I don't think Clemmns fouled him. But I have no problem with the call. Stay away from the shooter. And the guy had to make the free throws.

No. But why for god's sake did they even let him get a shot off? I don't understand why no coach ever wants to foul before any shot is possible with a 3 point lead with less than 10 seconds left. I see it all the time.

I thought it was a good acting job and not a foul, but still bad move by Clemmons to even get close. And he knew it.

Clemmons played a very good OT and that steal changed to outcome.

I thought he pulled back his arm just in time. There were missed calls on both sides, but I thought it was pretty well officiated.

I was yelling at them to foul once the ball passes half-court.

It was a stupid play, foul of no foul, by Clemmons. He is damn lucky it worked out in our favor in the end.

It really did. It shifted the momentum, in my opinion. Also, I haven't seen any replays; was it really not a foul? If so, I'd say that is par for the course. I thought it was a horribly officiated game and the refs were anticipating fouls that didn't happen, but blowing the whistle anyway.

The one I like was when a Temple player was called for a foul, and a ref and the player had a close up on camera and the ref looked like he was apologizing to the Temple player. A little too much closeness between the 2 of them for the ref to seem like he was unbiased.

Are you talking about the 4th foul called on DeCosey that sent JU to the line in OT? I thought the same thing. It really was an iffy call and an example of what I mean by a horribly officiated game. But...I haven't seen a team (Temple) throw up so many bricks that bounced around and went it, ever. Temple really was fortunate to be as close as they were.
