Now take that at face value. If true, then GD has no idea how to run this offense. I'll give him some credit for last week but I'm not buying it yet. We were all pleasantly wowed last week on how the offense performed but it's not like we haven't seen this before just to go back into a shell the next.

I was seriously hoping Tom Arnold was the one calling last weeks game. At least that would make more sense.

That was not his playbook, at least until CJ came in.

This was 1999-2011 KOK offense. Run between the tackles, and PA across the middle. Have to give him credit for calling a good game with KOK playbook.

Lets see what happens this Saturday.

Agree, and that is the playbook he should continue to use. It may not be the most dynamic playbook in the country but it beats the hell out of that piece of crap playbook he's been using the rest of the year.

Hopefully they have done a <ctrl> <alt> <delete> on that old playbook. Stick to the game 8 playbook this week and I don't care who relays the play to the QB.

Once again, Greg Davis is not calling a bunch of checkdowns. JR either sees the open guys or he does not.

So if GD called the plays on Saturday, who told him which plays he would be calling?

Something, something, something. Mumble, mumble, mumble.

Which of the runs - inside zone, outside zone or stretch play were not GDs?

Which pass plays were not?

The difference is a commitment on the field to THROW IT DOWN FIELD.

The difference is there was ROOM TO RUN for a change.

Who else would call a fade pattern into the endzone on 3rd and 9 from the 30? who else throws a 30 yard pass from the your own end zone? - never saw that with KOK. The flea flicker? Never saw KOK run that either.

It was a difference in philosophy and execution of the same playbook.

Same playbook just a QB that had a firm talking to during film sessions and 2 weeks to prepare.. I'm hopeful things are looking up, Minnesota game is going to tell us a lot..

My physical therapist knows a grad assistant on this team. That GA told him that Brian called the plays on Saturday. I can definitely see KF stretching the truth to allow GD to save face.

Perhaps he had a little 'sit-down' with his boss Captain Kirk, about a
Vertical passing game, as opposed to GDs favorite,
the 'vaunted' horizontal passing game.

Yes, please STICK to the game 8 playbook for goodness sake.

For those that believe someone other than GD called the plays, please come up with SOME kind of evidence. I've yet to see a single shred of anything other than wishcasting.

GD was still in the press box. BF was still on the sideline. At least come up with some images of BF doing something remotely in evidence of playcalling.

Davis called the plays. In the 2 weeks of prep. they might have eliminated those plays that had not worked all year long. If Davis was asked to not call plays, but sit in the box and look like he was, he would have quit.

No way in the world would GD be with the program if true.. We did the exact same thing to Indiana, so is BF calling every other game? Or did he just call the first half in that one. :)
