? for Jon

So do you want to change the topic to our Lord and Savoir?
Careful how you use "our" there, pal. The person to whom you replied ain't buying that and should be banned for his cursing on this board. I think I'm going to be sick after what I read above.

1. I didnt bring up the Lord, bruce did. I figure when people use His name they want to talk about Him.

2. I was not saying he should be banned. He asked if we were speaking french. I was joking as in "pardon my french".

3. I will use "our" when I choose. Thanks

Let me be a little more clear. The poster to whom you responded does not have "The New Testament" in his "Bible." You should probably be banned, too, for religious insensitivity and intolerance toward BSpringsteen.

Im sure any church near bruce would love to provide him with a copy.

You should apologize and he should be banned. That insensitivity is really sickening. Sorry you had to be subjected to that.

Thank you OK4P. That means a lot. I mean luckily, it is our sense of humor that has sustained us as a people for 3000 years.

Where would the world be without the likes of Jerry Steinfeld and Abner Goldstein?

**Shudder**

I hope Weisman doesn't stumble into this thread and see how much some of the "fans" respect his religion. Disgusting.

I'm thinking the original poster should be banned, because he used the forum to direct a question to Jon. It's against the rules. I've done that and was roundly chastised for it by a constipated poster (that did not survive the Feb 2012 scourge, BTW), AND my post was deleted by Jon, I assume.

Well I'm not Jon, but let me take a crack at this.

Because they're professionals?

Because it's a press conference, not an expose for investigative journalism?

Because they are not fans, they are asking questions to get quotes for an article for their job?

Because this isn't a school yard fight

Because what would be gained? Do you think KF will suddenly say, "alright, got me. I stink?"

Because there is a difference between tough questions and loaded ones?

Because unless they are writing an editorial piece, their job is not about analyzing the coaches performance?

What he said ;)

When I see posts like this, I always like to ask this question:

What question, and in what manner, isn't being asked? Step up and let's see what you have.

I got enough on my plate with my own career than having to tell someone else how to do their job. Had I wanted to be a reporter then I would have went to school for journalism.

Can you honestly say there are no questions you have ever held back because of the fear of how Rob Howe got treated or get a reply like <snort> "thats football"?

Lets not forget the farting around comment...

Look, man, in sports you can ask "why" questions but there is no satisfactory answer. "Why did you guys run play X on third and 2 in the fourth quarter?" Answer is always "because I thought it was going to work." The better question is "does anyone out there really listen to or care about what goes on in coaches' press conferences other than information with respect to injuries or the depth chart?" I don't, because there is no useful information in them other than that.

...but not to much on your plate to be extremely critical...and post said critique....on a message board.

"Kurt, this is nattychamps wtih HawkeyeNation. Would you consider hiring a special teams coach since we've been burned on fake punts 7 times in teh last 4 seasons? Seems like everyone knew the fake was coming except for everyone on your sideline."

So you start a thread like this, yet you don't have one example? In that event, I don't see a need to chime in, either.
