Crowd the d*mn line, then cross it as the ref begins the five-count. Stop giving opponents a foot or two to restart the play. Your violation of the line will NEVER get whistled. NEVER. Yes, the ref will move you back at the beginning to create space, but after that it's up to you to re-claim it and make it more difficult for the ball to be in-bounded.

This is a skill that Mr. Davis taught to perfection as the first point of attack of a stifling full-court press or to slow the offense on the opponent's end of the floor. You would regularly see Iowa players cross the boundary line as they jumped to try to block or disrupt the throw-in. His teams did just enough to not get called and yet to disrupt or alter the in-bounds pass. Go back and watch video of those games.
 






Wasn't paying attention last night but I can say that both Aaron and Gabe have been warned at least a couple of times for this very thing during previous home games, especially for reaching forward with their arms.
