That's a good point. Props to you Mr Rico. It can be done. How tall is Flemming anyways? He just looks small in the pictures but I suppose he could be 6 ft.

Elite speed kills. Let's wait until we see him in live action before we anoint him the next Tim Dwight please. I don't believe his 40 times have ever been "elite". God I hope one day we can look back and make that comparison, but a couple weeks into his collegiate career is a bit much.

Here is what it means….brah.
1st) Leave it to the Beavers “days†were far more respectful and those “kids†were better employees. I employee these kids and lots of them are morons, so while some may be excited about the brave new worlds, it doesn’t mean it’s good.
2nd) It’s true that social media has indeed made it more obvious how big a moron and thoughtless these chaps are but they are less respectful as a rule. I have 5 kids and as their father I can tell you, even though people rave about their manners and their respectfulness, they are still far less respectful of their elders or their place than I was at the same age.
3rd) Finally he may not have taken anyone’s “reps†, he just might be part of the 3 wide, 4 wide package…i/e:slated to get significant reps. If he took someone’s reps I’d wager Shupert, but he was said to have picked it up. Not everything really has to mean anything other than he is doing good!

Okay I get the enthusiasm, but I could have swore I saw lots of 5 wide, 2-back, 1-back, 2-tight last year. So really I believe in change but its football. We aren't reinventing the wheel here.

Oddly enuff I don’t think we agree all that much (I may be wrong) but that is something that has always gave me a chuckle as well. How we call one guy fast and one guy slow when their forty’s don’t match up with that. However it’s worth saying, forty times I have found aren’t all that indicative of football speed. And furthermore that seems to come and go at times. Especially to us fans…..
Marcus Coker was fast in the insight bowl but slow last yea?!?!. Shonn Greene ran a 4.64 at the combine (4.55ish at his Pro day) but he looked really fast.
Just goes to show how hard it really is to scout talent.

Also it is good that the coaches think he can play, but I propose that it would be best if we already had seasoned talent but alas it seems we do not.

This would be acceptable. Any way we can keep the real experienced players out of harms way. Kick returner can be kind of dangerous. However with the new kickoff rules I'm assuming the amount of returns we see will be reduced by half.
Yeah, i forgot about the new kick off rules. This should help our kickoff coverage although it did improve over the course of last year.

He blew guys up often on kick coverage last year.
maybe kids realized they don't have to be respectful of elders if their elders are idiots.
my favorite from a few years ago was 3 TE (1WR, 1RB) package, Meyer, Riesner and Moeaki. you can't tell if it is a run or a pass. Imagine Greene in the backfield with that package. I think the 09 team with Greene would beat the 02 team 4 out of 5 times.
