Flagrant on Woodbury?

Haven't seen it brought up yet.

Was that not one of the worst calls you've ever seen?

First It didn't look like there was even a foul, second I really don't think Adam even knew Ubel was there let alone intentionally tried to hit him.

The fat guy falling down and getting a foul called was pretty ridiculous too.

Woody has to watch his back now...he has a rep ever since he dropped Northwestern's big Yugorussiaslavian guy with his "3 fingers of death" slap in Evanston...refs are on the lookout!

terrible call but if Woody is our Charles Oakley I won't complain

I just can't wrap my mind around calling a flagrant foul when there was actually no foul.

Ive never seen or heard of something like that.

Granted it wasn't a foul. I guess I understood it was a flagrant because the "foul" was dead ball and "harmful"

At least the 2 stupid flagrant fouls evened each other out. I can handle some bad officiating as long as they are consistent and call it both ways.

I thought the flagrant on the big guy from Nebraska was pretty legitimate. He clocked White pretty good on the layup. Unlike Woodbury's "foul" where his contact wouldn't have knocked over a 2 year old with vertigo.

Inadvertent whistle prior to the Nebby shot clock violation.

That didn't bother me as much as the missed call on Overweighted's moving screen, or when he tripped on his own feet and drew a foul call. Honestly the flagrant called on that guy was a really bad call, but the one on Woody was much worse.

But he was making a play on the ball. The only reason why he got called was because how big he is.

That was funny!

He's a big boy that definitely knows how to throw his body around. I'm a firm believer that regardless of whether or not his arm got up contest him, the fact was he was out of control with the body and had no intention of going for the ball. A guy that size ramming into the frame of players half his size could cause seriously injury when they're unprotected as white was. I thought it was worthy of a flagrant, that said I think White did an amazing job of selling it.

It could have been the smirk he had on his face after he clobbered AW that got him the flagrant, he looked pretty pleased with himself.
