Flagrant on Woodbury?

You're not "Oak" until you threaten to kick someone's a$$ on the court for not paying off a gambling debt yet...

I had to google this to know what you were talking about. Pretty entertaining stuff. I love that it was Tyrone Hill who owed him money - quite possibly the ugliest man to ever play professional basketball.

I know fatty's fat and all, but there isn't an amount of fat that could drop May like that on a legal screen. Simple physics.

Come again?

I was at the game but still cannot figure out that call on Woody. Can anyone explain that to me, what did he do to get hit up with one?

Did anyone notice that Almeida did not play a good chunk of the last part of the game? Did he foul out? I didn't think so, and I think he got an attitude and his coach got him out of there.

Woody got called for a foul. From my understanding from where it was committed, ball not in play its a flagarent. Either way it was garbage...

I love the attitude Woody & Whitey play with but they also play on the edge in terms of talking smack and throwing elbows much like McCabe last season. The refs will only put up with so much "chippiness" before they send a reminder how well it will be tolerated. I went back and re-watched the game once I got home and would note the following based on recording time of DVR:

1:52:53 - White dribbles into traffic and ends up on the deck. Almeida offers a hand to help him up and White pushed it away and then turns to Marble for a hand up. BTN then cuts to a shot of Fran who yells out to White and says "No" as he knows what just happened was unsportsmanlike.

1:50:11 - Best view in terms of angle which shows Almeida made contact to the head of White as he attempt to give a hard foul and keep White from getting an easy bucket. Almeida did give him a bit of a stare and a smile so the flagrant call was definitely warranted.

1:49:39 - After the free throws by White play resumes and it appeared Almeida did offer a quick apology on the way by White.

1:47:09 - Almeida looked to get away with a slight moving screen as he leans out to pick May who is sent to the floor, however, I did not see anything malicious but would say it could have easily been whistled simply because Almeida as moving his feet at the time of contact.

1:18:14 / 1:17:36 - Woodbury and Ubel get tangled up but as they separate Woodbury's left arm extends back and to the left as he clears him out which is why he gets whistled.
