I haven't had cable for 4 of the years that we've had our house. Why pay so much for junk and be open to increases in costs whenever they feel like it. Bought a $30 digital antenna and get enough channels to keep me happy. Can also watch free on the internet using someone's unprotected WiFi.

I haven't had cable in over a year. Don't miss it, except for sporting events I can stream. Just stream or netflix any shows, cable has peaked imo and will slowly die over the next 10-20 years.
