I actually like Ramos, Nate Moore and Gambrall's draws. Interesting possible matchups include: Spangler/Kemerer in quarters, Moore/Taylor 2nd rd, Bailey/Lofthouse in qtrs, winner of Moore/Taylor should face St. John and then Lofthouse in semis(pending he gets by Bailey. Winner of Kemerer/Spangler should get winner of other mess. McIntosh has Lehman in 2nd rd. Nate Moore and Josh Dziewa could see each other in the finals. Also Alton and Kingdig could see each other in the semis and other side has McCauley and other Alton. Could be a all Alton finals here's hoping NOT! I might find myself pulling for a future cowboy if that is possible.

Moore vs Dziewa in the finals will be fun! Lofthouse beats St John again in freestyle and now St John will face David Taylor again while Lofthouse will face Cyclone Spangler. Most but not least, HUGE win for Gambrall over Ruth!!!! Grant is as good as he wants to be and if he is all in he is going to be a good one! He will face highly touted Lee Munster in the finals.

Good work as usual there FF. Here's a few of my thoughts.
1. Do the hawks consider having Lofthouse go 165 and St. John move up to 174? lol.... I know that's not really possible but with Lofthouse beating him twice now I'm sure it has crossed Ethan's mind.
2. Nate Moore is going to be pretty tough next year. Although his bracket was realitively weak he had no problems. Dziewa is also pretty good and this just goes to show why we need to redshirt kids.
3. Ramos finishing 5th hopefully puts to rest how he can be just as good as "STEEL". While Ramos is pretty good in his own right, he's not as good as Steel!!!!
4. Gambrall did pretty well this time out but lost to a high school senior in the finals. I will say that the win over Ruth was a VERY nice win and just goes to show he can do it!!!
5. Nick Moore was 1 match from placing and honestly if he wins that match I think he is wrestling for 5th in probably the toughest bracket out there.
6. Possible future hawks McIntosh & McCauley looked pretty solid. McCauley's bracket was also LOADED and he finished 3rd as a High School Junior. Please let him be a HAWK!!!! #1 recruit on my board for the Hawks!!! McIntosh finishing 3rd also as a Junior says a lot about him he would be #2 on my board for the Hawks and we could definately use him!!
7. 2 SENSATIONAL High School Sophomore's Tsirtsis and Massa finish 4th and 1st! These 2 kids are special and we need to find a way to get both in Black and Gold!!!!!

Does Ramos always wrestle 132 in freestyle. Seems like with the longer period after weigh-ins he'd get down to 121. I had never heard anyone mention he'd be better than McD.

I hope Ethan Lofthouse can make a healthy cut to 165 next season. He seems like the best option there. St.Johns's future is at 157 I think.
 
First, Ramos was set to wrestle 121 in the senior open and didn't make weight so he wrestled up for this. Second, he is NOT as good as McDonough at this point. Tony will be a good one but McDonough is a national champion!

Also, St John will be at 165 for the Hawks next year and Lofthouse will be at 174. I don't think that Ethan could hold the weight at 165 with 1 hour weigh ins and for a long season. For those of you that have seen him up close he is thick! The international weigh ins allow for a lot more weight cutting.
