Few thoughts and talking points

Missed FT's hurt us yes...I think not playing Gabe has cost us two games. Even Fred said after the game we were able to contain the run outs in the 2nd half. Yeah because Adam simply cannot run the floor like Gabe. I really think many good things tonight, tough place to win. I just feel like we play too many guys and we are stuck on some when they simply are not producing. We needed to get our transition offense going and we had a group on the floor with no big man to run the floor. Just my thoughts...why give Jok minutes tonight? And if you do why is he looking to shoot in that environment? Did anyone else think Fran was unusually quiet and mild tempered tonight? Really like this team...but I am a firm believer in the theory that you cannot play 10-11 guys in the big time and win. Minutes have to start getting narrowed for some...love to hear other thoughts.

I won't say we need him, because we don't need last year's version of JO. But I'm definitely ready to see what he's going to bring to the table this year.

Agreed, JO needs to shoot better than last season for sure. I can't stand seeing other teams with great perimeter shooters and Iowa has? Jok might be great but he is trying to just catch up to the college game. Marble is inconsistent and McCabe was off tonight but has been shooting well until tonight.

I really didn't understand only 10 minutes for Gabe, he needs to be on the court more. I'm really at a loss at only 10 minutes!! Jok was also on the court much longer than he should have been and the 15 minutes for McCabe was to much for him tonight the way he was playing.
