Ferentz on Rich Eisen Show

I really enjoy Eisen as well. I love the NFL, but he is probably 80-85% NFL talk during the season, and I wish he'd have more college football content. I'd still rather have him over Cowherd on KXNO.

I'm sure I'm going in the minority but I'm glad Cowherd is back. Nothing against Eisen but I find Cowherd entertaining even if he's a hawk hater.

Traitors... Eisen is a Big 10 guy and has had Iowa guys on and is just a more genuine person. Cowherd is just so disingenuous he Rome, Skip Bayless are just unlistenable to me. They don't have an original opinion between them. One doesn't have to 'entertain' me that's not what I listen to sports talk for anyway. I like genuine conversations and interviews that reveal things about guys or their pasts I didn't know. I enjoy learning about stuff not regurgitating things about 'how do you feel' or just vague 'talk about' leading questions. Dan Patrick and Eisen are way more 'entertaining' to me.

You ever notice how Rome says someone's name five times before getting a question out? That crap is annoying. Lebron, good to see you Lebron, let me ask you LeBron, how does LeBron James feel about LeBron losing Kyrie Irving?

Did you ever see the video of when Skip Bayless got owned by Mark Cuban? Cuban called Baylees out saying he doesn't know anything about sports and Bayless got all offended. So Cuban then verbally drew up an offense play in basketball and asked how Bayless would defend against it. Skip was clueless & speechless and tried to dance around it. Cuban exposed him.

No I haven't but I could certainly see that scenario playing out. I'm just not 'entertained' by the same entertainment that those guys try to do. Even Mike & Mike has long ago turned into a schtic of a show. Their just so corporate and fake. It's like the TMZ of sports is what sports radio has turned into.
I find it funny that there's a beef between Cowherd and DP. They both are guys that left ESPN on their own terms. Differently however. DP left without a plan in mind of what was next. It was like 6 months later before he even got the wheels in motion for starting his radio show. Cowherd left with the other gig already in hand. Cowherd is a guy that I probably would find interesting to get to know but as far as his 'persona' and type of show and takes he gives I just don't enjoy it.

I miss Rich Eisen already on KXNO - used to listen over my lunch hour. Admittedly a Big Ten guy. Will have to listen on IHeart radio I guess.
