Matt, because I just feel bad for him, he committed so long ago and now is stuck on a horrible team with not much hope of making a NCAA tournament while he is here.
 
May. He's easily the most exciting player (from my perspective) to wach on this team. How many other players on this team have the physical ability to make some of the blocks and dunks that May can? He's fun to watch.

stormin might not like this though, as we 'wasn't sure about' TL offering Eric May, last year, as I recall.

The Hawkeyes need about 2-3 more Iowa kids like Eric May, who will bust their a.. for the U of I and bring back the good ole days

I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong on that. I thought May would be a role player. Glad to be wrong.
 
I voted for Lick cause I thought I would be the ONLY one.... turns our there are more like me.... thats disturbing.

i totally voted for lick because:
1)he has caused the most excitement in the media and for fans
2)brought the most attention to the team
3) brought the best debates to this site
 
Most productive = Fuller
Most explosive = May
Biggest surprise (to me) = Payne

I don't know where to vote...:(
 
I like May and Payne, if i had to choose right now i would go w/ May. He brings excitement to the floor. Stormin who is yours?
 
While Fuller and May are my favorite players, I think that Jaryd Cole has to be one of the nicest dudes in the world. Cole has a heart of gold.
 
I love trying to catch May in action along with Payne's confidence and I think Fuller has stepped up and provided some nice offense at times this year but the heart and soul of the team in my mind is Cole and I'd be scared to think what the year could have been like without him setting the tone in terms of weight conditioning, playing through injuries along with his determination to come back stronger than before from his knee not to mention offering advice and words of encouragement to guys throughout the year while still holding them accountable.
 
I voted Payne just because I love his attitude. Not a knock on the rest of the guys out there, I just like the fact that he's the PG and he's running the show. Sort of why Horner and Deano are two of my all-time fav Hawkeyes.
