No. Without Favre, defenses will load up against the run.

Who cares if they load up the run. Look back to before Favre. Everybody knew TJ was terrible, and stacked for the run, but AP still rushed for 1500+ yards.

I have the #1 pick in my league...and I was leaning toward Johnson the last couple of days because while he rushed for 2000 yds last season...he didn't have very many tds because they had Lendale White taking a lot of those.

This year...they've got Vince Young at QB and their backup running back is Javon Ringer...who I don't see as likely to take tds away from Johnson.

The argument for Petersen is that they have a great OL...and that offense is going to score no matter what...Favre threw 33 tds last year...how many of those turn into AP tds this year?

Favre isn't going to retire....this is just another "look at me...look at me" incident. Apparently he wasn't getting the attention he thinks he deserves, so he "leaked" this retirement talk.

What a Grade-A ****** he is.

And Viking fans just lap it up. He Favre were still with Green Bay and pulling this crap, they would be laughing their rear ends off.
