Don't worry Iowa is going to get pounded tonight so we will all be able to go back to hoping and praying for the CIT/NIT/CBI.

Which is fine.
The fact that Iowa has a winning record this late in the season is a step in the right direction and it's exciting for Iowa fans.

My point was, something as small and infinitesimal as a chance to go to The Dance and Iowa fans can hold onto that. Hasn't been a chance of that in many, many years.

It's a lot better feeling in Feb than what we had been doing in Feb the three Lick years, which was debating on which players would transfer in March or April. Tony Freeman, Jeff Peterson, Jake Kelly and Aaron Fuller..

I'm just stating that this little bit of a chance has given Iowa fans hope this late in the season. It's been a long time coming, which only encourages fan to get excited even though the chances are slim to none.

It's awesome (relative to 2007-2011) to be thinking--in the last week of February--that we could be playing in ANY game after BTT is over.

I'll GLADY take CIT, CBI or NIT.
