Hell, winning the division means you can say "Division Champ". But, w/ KF's postseason record? It also means 1 more L.

I see what you are saying, but, It'd be better than finishing in the middle of the crappy West division. At least you'd be looked at as formidable.

I said the West looks average. You said crappy. But somehow you think winning a crappy division would look "formidable"? I guess we define formidable differently!

........but you stated it would not be an accomplishment. I read that to mean that you think it's not up to par with others.

Iowa won the division in 2015 and played Mich St. down the the last play and yard in the BIG C-ship game. Yes, the winner of the West division will be formidable.
 
If you cheer for a team, yet don't want them to have success; ummmmmmm, call me crazy, just gonna throw this out there, uhhhhhhhh, maybe you should get a new team.
 
The notion that the B1G West is some sort of toilet division is crazy- B1G is one the elite conferences in the country. I'll never argue that the East is definitely more empowered and the balance is definitely tilted there way, but going overboard with things is a bit cray

There are peeps in this site that think Iowa winning the B1G West this season would be like a participation ribbon and mean absolutely nothing at all because of who is in the B1G West. .... and you can't argue with them, because that's what it is. Which is why I made the dumbest poll question ever on this site.

Yeah i caught your inflection on it. My address was more for said peeps. If they win the west, they get to go fight for the big ten championship, which is not a participation trophy. This team is capable of beating anybody and capable of losing to anybody. This is why they play the games on the field not on paper. For everybody out there, honestly, if you don't want them to win everything possible, your fandom sucks.
 
Funny poll. I'm a fan. Of course I want Iowa to win the west. Winning sure beats losing. Is it as impressive as winning the East? Of course not, but all you can do is beat what's on your schedule, and win the conference you're in, then see what happens in the title game. Hopefully win that, too, and then hopefully win the Rose Bowl. Probably won't happen, but of course I WANT it to.

Next question.

We still get there if we were to win out (huge huge hurdle) and Michigan beats Wisconsin. Not worried about Nebraska or Northwestern losing enough games.

We know. You prefer the Excellence of Dallas Cowboys. By the way, what's their record the last 10-12 years, how many playoff appearances, wins, NC titles, Super Bowls.

What kind of dumb ass question is that. We all want to win the west so we can get completely embarrassed by the east in the title game
 
you either win the west or you win the east. if you don't do either, you can't win the B1G. Winning the B1G should always be THE goal.
