If it was an even odds bet, I am not sure where I would place my money on a first round pick, rather than second.90/10...I'd be very, very surprised if he doesn't go in the first round.
In one way, I am not too concerned where he goes. It probably just impacts on who gets the best deal on him, since he is going to be a very successful player in the NFL. I know he will get less money up front if he slips to the second round. But he will end up a multi millionaire in any event. Geez. How much is enough?
I would put money on the second round. But wherever he goes I hope he excels and makes Iowa look to be a great place to play. Cheap recruiting. Maybe Rams or Packers! Hopefully not to Detroit, where NFL dreams go to die.50/50. His combine performance killed him. His tape is still great though. I've seen a couple of mocks with him in the second.

A less than advertised combine.I'm a Rams fan so hope he goes there. I saw two mocks today that have him going in the 2nd, albeit one of them was the first pick of the second.
50 cent bet?First round pick
I was watching the NFL Network this morning and they had AJ going 23rd to the Patriots. They said that Belichick's prototype DE is a big guy with good hands, good production, and is a hard worker. They said that he was a perfect fit for the Pats and there isn't a good enough plug-and-play QB worth taking that would beat out Stidham. They said that Belichick always picks the best player available that's a perfect fit for his team. As always, take it for what it's worth.
