Enough of the negativity

The coaching sucks, that's all there is to it. All these changes to the offensive staff are lipstick on a pig if KF and GD are still calling the shots.

And who said that anything getting posted here would change the program?

Jon Miller, will you please ban this man? This is so negative that pretty soon all of the ferentz fans here will become depressed as they are subject to this torture over and over again.

Just was something the way he said it. You have to remember that as you get older and fatter, the fewer and fewer amount of people like you.

True, so true!

But Ferentz isn't getting fatter except in the wallet but fewer and fewer fans seem to like him, is that the correlation?

Thanks Dave, but it doesnt bother me. I think I could have a conversation with him if he would quit crying. LOL

Freed is an emotion guy, he will come around shortly.

I like Freed about a million times better than MythOfFerentz.

ferentz really isn't a people person. He has a small group of folks with whom he's close. He doesn't care about what others think about him.

To tell you the truth, if I was as rich as him wouldn't bother me a bunch if people talked bad about me, if it was true.

I'm beginning to see that he is most like Steve Alford in that aspect, neither guy was/is really a people person.

Fran gets angry but people still like him.

Yes :D

Yeah, Fran is very likable. I actually liked how he stood up for himself last year after he got mad during a game. He got asked if he thinks he should be suspended for his behavior. His response was both rational and powerful.

I don't know if I've ever seen a coach so disliked by the fans than Alford. It got to the point that every time I'd see or hear him talk I'd get a bad taste in my mouth with a slight sick feeling in my stomach.

Lick was approaching that territory and probably would have gotten there if Barta had given him another year. When Lick first got to Iowa City and was pictured interacting early on with Hawkeye Nation at events such as Spring football camp, I thought he was going to be the guy to re-energize the fan base and bring back solid basketball.

But we quickly saw a coach who was insecure and withdrawn. Photos like these, plus his decision to play his son (even if out of necessity), only cemented the notion of a coach who was out of his league and disconnected from the players and the fans.
