LOLOLOLOLOL...you're seriously comparing Gordon to Eno????
Melvin Gordon says hi
He's gone. He's not coming back. It's not the end of the world. Yes, it would have been great to have him. There are other fish in the sea. I'm just really not sure why a bunch of grown men need to go all nuclear over a 17-year old boy who has yet to decide where he's even going to college.
AGREE. I POSTED THAT.MUST TRY.IF CAP FAILS STILL A QUALITY SITUATION.AGAIN MUST TRY.ENO LIKES FUN SITUATIONS.ENJOY THE TIME OF RECRUITING JUST MY VERY SLIGHT KNOWLEDGE OF OCCURANCE.Get him back any how any way. If we win out, this season is a wash in my mind. But to continue strong we need strong classes. Eno will not only make this class better, he will probably continue recruiting the whole time here. I really hope there is still a way he winds up a Hawk.
He's gone.
Just leave the F'ing kid alone.
Didn't we go 4-8, 8-5, and 7-6 with Weisman? We can make any player work at any position. We just might not be very good.
This isn't directed at you, but it's crazy how many Iowa fans think having a great running back isn't a big deal. If Melvin Gordon stayed committed, we probably average 2-3 more wins per year during his time here.
It wasn't that Iowa lost Gordon that put Weisman as a RB for Iowa, it was all the other RB they lost (Wegher, Arob, McCall, Hampton, Coker, and Garmon). When you have 6 very good RB that all gone in a 2 -3 year window that hurts. The way AIRBHG was chewing up and spitting out Iowa RB, it wouldn't have surprised me if Gordon comes to Iowa he blows out 2 knees and never plays again.
