End game Wisconsin clock management

Did Bielema learn that from Iowa? What an absolutely terrible decision to try and sneak off a spike in 2 seconds. Wilson/Bielema not playing to win ended up being a killer.

Haha, maybe Hawkeye fan can look around the landscape of the rest of college football, and realize this is commonplace.......not a problem exclusive to Iowa.

At least they moved the ball downfield.....Iowa wouldn't have even made it to midfield....probably would have been sacked or thrown a 5 yard swing pass.

It is better that they sh!t the bed on the 30 yd line instead in their own territory??? I'm betting as a Wisky fan you would cut the Hawk coaches that kind of slack if that happened to them.....

I said no such thing.....I merely intimated Iowa would not have moved the ball downfield like Wisconsin did.

We would have stuck to our guns and ran it. Hey its football.

I agree that the two burned timeouts were dumb, especially the one on the kick-off. I would have liked to know who's decision it was to spike the ball instead of passing it. They had just gone 70 yards in two plays.

Wait?? What? Iowa doesn't have issues with having not timeouts left. That rarely is an issue.

Who really cares how far down the field they made it....they didn't get a TD. I guess a "moral victory" of completeing 2 passes means something to you. Maybe if the dumb a$$ coach knew how to manage the clock they might have had a TO or 2 left.....or do you just make excuses for coaches not named Ferentz?

East Lansing

Iowa had over a minute.....Wisconsin had less than 30 seconds. Completely different.

By the way.....how did the Hawks do when they had the ball at the end of the Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Minnesota games last year? How about the Iowa State and Minnesota games this year?

You just don't get it.
