Egyptian Wrestlers Late--forfeit matches

Heard this story and had to post. That would stink to put in all of that work, qualify for the Olympics, but then miss your matches because you thought the tournament started at a different time! Guess you would think that the wrestlers would know exactly when there were supposed to show up!

It's on the coaches head when you're in middle school. They're big boys now and I'm sure they can tell time. Everybody else knew about the time change. The coaches can take part of the blame, but the wrestlers aren't faultless.

i agree the wrestlers probably should of been aware but I know I personally never checked times when tournys started etc I always listened to my coach

yeah, i'm sure these wrestlers are busy getting ready mentally and physically, etc other than checking times. i've never seen a wrestler wearing a wrist watch.

as a viewer - i never knew when anything of the wrestling was happening (or many sports). seemed like all the times of the events were kept pretty secretive!
