Any update?
Rewatched the play--he stuck his hand in the get the football on a fumble during a screen play. It didnt look good- I would guess broken forearm. Hopefully it can be casted so he can keep going.
if he broke a bone in the forearm - ulna or radius - the cast would have to be above the elbow. hard to play like that. if the elbow was dislocated, it might be worse.

that is unusual. casts are put one joint above the break. i.e. if you break a bone in your hand, the cast will be above the wrist. where was your break?
Agreed. Depends on where the break is. Closer to elbow then most likely above elbow. If closer to wrist likely casted up to elbow.
