Rewatched the play--he stuck his hand in the get the football on a fumble during a screen play. It didnt look good- I would guess broken forearm. Hopefully it can be casted so he can keep going.

a cast is just something to club the offensive tackle with. Put a thick iron plate in there for a better effect

if he broke a bone in the forearm - ulna or radius - the cast would have to be above the elbow. hard to play like that. if the elbow was dislocated, it might be worse.

No it doesn't. I broke my forearm junior year HS football and cast was below elbow...

Yeah that seems odd. Wonder where sling went? Definitely had huge bag of ice on it during game too. Who knows, he's definitely a tough mofo so we will see.

that is unusual. casts are put one joint above the break. i.e. if you break a bone in your hand, the cast will be above the wrist. where was your break?

Agreed. Depends on where the break is. Closer to elbow then most likely above elbow. If closer to wrist likely casted up to elbow.

Compound fracture 6 inches above the wrist on the inside forearm bone (not sure which one that is)....
